Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season and enjoying time with family and friends!
Here to share a recent newborn studio session. This little love was so sweet. 9 pounds 6 ounces of baby squishiness! At first he wasn’t so sleepy. He was aware of the new environment, curious and just wanted to see what was going on. Which was great, I captured some cute photos of him while he was awake and then his parents and I took some time to get him to sleep, and you’ll never guess what makes this baby sleepy! It is so cute, and hilarious, more on that in a minute.
Here he is, wide awake making one of many facial expressions that day.
So what got this baby boy to sleep?! Mom and Dad told me, “he likes heavy metal, maybe we should put some on.” Um, huh? He likes heavy metal? Ok, that is a first. And I had to see this.
His Dad proceeded to pull up some heavy metal music on his phone. They played a band called Amon Amarth. And this baby boy started to fall asleep! I could not believe it. It was a good laugh amongst us all, for sure. Within just a few minutes Dallas was nice and sleepy just how I like them. Once sleepy, I can pose them in the most adorable ways and capture these wall worthy portraits.
Here he is, the sleepy little guy with cheeks for days and a beautiful head of hair! Dreaming away while listing to heavy metal music in the studio.
There were so many amazing images from his session, more can be seen over on my Facebook page. The last one I am going to show here today is their family portrait. With every full newborn session I include images with Mom and baby, Dad and baby and their whole family including siblings for those that are not the first born. It is so important to have this first family image, with your new addition to the family.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the latest, I am still incredibly far behind on blogging sessions for the fall so I apologize if you’ve been looking for your own family’s blog. I will get to them little by little as I catch up from a very busy season!
