Stopping in to share a couple images from a newborn baby session with a sweet baby boy, who has the most perfect hair!
One peaceful little guy here, in this neutral colored set up with a cute footed pjs in baby blue. This pose is often one of my favorites. In the photography world it is called “Huck Finn” but don’t ask me why. I didn’t name it 😉
It’s the perfect little pose for showing off their cute little face, and capturing their tiny size when they were just a newborn baby.
During all full newborn sessions I photograph the new baby with siblings and also with their parents. A full session is a session that lasts up to three hours. Which allows for enough time to work with the baby and get the poses, as well as incorporate the family into the session. In my galleries on this site I tend to share more of the newborn posing, to give potential clients a clear idea of what they can expect their baby’s final images to look like if they selected me as their photographer.
Here is a great example of a family image that was taken in my studio here in Leominster. They are new parents, so no sibling images took place during this session. Such a beautiful new family, radiating with love for their new little guy.
Mom and dad brought along this cute elephant stuffed animal. With some help holding the stuffy from the mom we carefully placed the little guy to snuggle up with him. And just as I was ready to take the image, he gave me this adorable smile.
Parents are always encouraged to bring anything valuable to their new baby along to their session. I just ask that I have an image sent to me first of the item being used so I can best incorporate it into the session during the pre session planning. If you have any questions about items that are suitable during a session please feel free to ask!
