I’d like to start by saying, thank you to all of the families that chose to work with Lindsay O’Connell Photography in 2018! I had such a wonderful year working with previous clients and meeting new clients. I am now booking into 2019 with the only availability for sessions remaining in 2018, being open for a couple more newborn session spots in December.
Today I am sharing a recent apple orchard Maternity Session. This fall has brought some gloomy and rainy weather. I have certainly been missing the sunshine, but I also do enjoy a gloomy day session. I love the moody and artistic images I can produce with a gloomy environment.
I absolutely love a beautiful maternity image such as this, that shows some emotion, connection and pure beauty during such a monumental time in a couple’s lives. This expectant momma wore a blue rain gown during her session, from my studio collection. It looked absolutely stunning on her, and she felt comfortable, and beautiful in it. I chose a nice section of the apple orchard with apples that were not yet ripe, I love all the tones of green here and felt the red apples wouldn’t suit my end vision. This image at completion, is exactly what I had envisioned.
This couple is expecting their first baby, a girl, next month! I am looking forward to meeting her and seeing this family again for their newborn session, which will take place in the studio in Leominster, MA.
In this image I captured a close up of this expectant mothers beautiful bump!
