Let me start by saying thank you to all of my amazing clients! This fall was a busy season, and was further complicated by poor weather. Every single outdoor session this fall had to be rescheduled due to rain. I appreciate all of my families being flexible and waiting for a better day for their portrait sessions. We made it through, and I am so happy with the end results of each session.
With the cold weather moving in and winter about to begin, most of my sessions at this time are held in studio. I have been photographing beautiful newborn babies and I can’t wait to share their images with you all! This winter I have some really amazing ideas for outdoor sessions with children. It will be a bit tough due to the weather but it will be so worth it! I’m currently booked for 2018 and I am focusing my energy on planning the 2019 year. I have been doing a lot of prop shopping, selecting the perfect outfits and accessories to pull together some really amazing child portrait images. You may see my work shift a bit this year. I will still be offering family sessions, but the focus will be primarily on the children during these sessions. When I launched my business my passion was with photographing the innocence of childhood. I want to follow what I love, and listen to my heart. So this year I am going to be producing images that are very thought out, planned precisely, and very childhood focused.
Newborn sessions will be offered in the same way they were in 2018. I have two session options. The first being my Petite Newborn Session which is a really great option for families looking for a few gorgeous images of their newborn baby. I am also still offering my full newborn session which goes above and beyond and offers a wonderful experience and a full gallery of images of your baby, your children together, parent images and family images. If you’re interested in a Newborn Session and would like to hear more about the details, send me a note and we can discuss all of the details. I can be contacted here.
If you have visited my website lately you’ve probably noticed some changes. I recently spent time rebranding. I love everything about my new website. I really dug in deep and tried to rebrand in a way that expresses not only who I am as a person, but really shows who I am as an artist. I love neutrals. I love elements of the outdoors. And, I love working with infants and small children. I am so excited for the 2019 year and I can not wait to share some of my new ideas and visions with you once I have the opportunity to create them. I am more than ever anxious for spring, and I know that is so ridiculous since it isn’t even December yet, ha ha. But this also gives me time to plan and location hunt for the perfect spots to create the images stored in my imagination.
If you have a child between the age of one and four years old and would like a winter wonderland session please get in touch to become part of this project.
I am looking forward to another amazing year!
